Large appliances are the single most awkward category of household junk. They are heavy, they hold water, and several of them contain refrigerant gases that must be handled under UAE environmental rules rather than dumped with general waste. Alpha Junk Removing collects all of them, from a single broken washing machine to an entire villa kitchen.
Our crews disconnect appliances that are simply plugged in or connected to a standard water inlet, drain residual water so it does not end up on your floor, and carry the unit out on a trolley with wall protection. For anything hard-wired or connected to a gas supply — cookers, some ovens, ducted AC — we ask that a licensed electrician or gas technician disconnects it first, for safety and for your building's warranty.
Appliances containing refrigerant, principally fridges, freezers and air conditioners, are taken to facilities equipped to recover the gas before the shell is stripped for metal recycling. This matters: released refrigerant is a far more potent greenhouse gas than CO₂, and improper disposal is exactly what UAE waste regulations are written to prevent.

Air conditioners and refrigerant-bearing units
Window units and portable air conditioners can normally be collected as-is. Split systems need the indoor and outdoor units disconnected by an AC technician before we arrive — we can collect both halves once they are free, including the outdoor condenser from a balcony or roof plinth. Every refrigerant-bearing appliance we collect goes to a facility that recovers the gas rather than venting it.
Working appliances get a second life
If the appliance still runs, say so when you book. Working fridges, washers and cookers have real second-hand value in the UAE and we route them to reuse channels rather than scrapping them. That is better environmentally, and it often reduces what you pay for the collection.
Landlords, agents and property managers
We work regularly with property managers clearing units between tenancies, where a failed appliance has to be out before the new tenant's move-in date. Multiple units in the same building can be cleared in a single visit, which is cheaper per item than booking each one separately. Ask for a per-building quote if you manage a portfolio.
