What happens to your old furniture
Furniture that is still usable does not go to landfill. Pieces in serviceable condition are passed to second-hand dealers and charitable collections, which keeps them in circulation and keeps our disposal costs — and therefore your price — down. Damaged items are broken down so that timber, metal frames and foam can be separated and sent to the correct recycling stream. Only genuinely unusable material goes to an authorised waste facility.
High-rise and tight-access collections
A large share of our work is in towers in Dubai Marina, JLT, Business Bay and Al Reem Island, where the service lift has to be booked and padded and a move permit may be needed from building management. Tell us your building when you book and we will tell you what the management office normally asks for. Where an item genuinely will not fit in the lift, we dismantle it on the landing rather than forcing it through a doorway.
Landlord handovers and end-of-tenancy clearances
If you are handing a property back, leftover furniture is one of the most common reasons for a deduction from the security deposit. We can clear a unit completely — furniture, appliances, mattresses and general clutter — in a single visit, so the property is empty for inspection. If your handover date is fixed, book a day or two ahead so you are not relying on same-day availability.
